Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

 A Police Clearance Certificate is an official document issued by the Criminal Record and Crime Scene Management (CR & CSM) stating whether or not any criminal convictions have been recorded against an individual. It is also sometimes reffered to as a criminal check or penal record.

There are a few reasons why you would need a PCC. Some may let you be flexible with its turn around time and others require you to get them as fast as possible. 

Here are some examples of why you would need one:

 - Immigration

 - Certain Visas

 - Overseas employment, studies and citizenship

 - Overseas adoption

The certificate will be valid for 6 months after the date it is stamped. However, some countries regulations require different time periods after it is stamped so it is vital that you inform us of your plans ahead so we can find the best plan of action to accomodate you.

Your fingerprints are valid for exactly 365 days. In some cases it would mean that you can use them up until the very last day but does not apply to cases where the service cannot be done on the same day such as the PCC. However, it does allow you to have them ready if you'd like to only submit your application a few months later.
